Ana is passionate and inspirational about ensuring PayAll users have an exceptional experience and that our services deliver on our commitment to solve problems in ways others don’t or can’t. From collaborating with business customers regarding their forecasts and ensuring sufficient resource capacity is available or scheduled, to using the enhanced information dynamics of the PayAll platform regarding user activity and transactions and our next generation fraud mitigation tools and account security protocols – Ana’s team delivers exceptional results by using information and planning accordingly.

She leads all operational activities including user enrollment and boarding, compliance activities, user support for businesses and individuals, third party relationships, financial services including funding and settlement, and maintaining the product roadmap by embracing user feedback and, along with her executive partners, integrating ideas that PayAll believes will improve and enhance the value proposition.

While we’ve developed and refined our procedures to support our commitment to delight users, Ana and her team also embrace a simple, but powerful, idea when confronted with difficulties – “think, use common sense” and allow this to guide them in taking the necessary steps to overcome encountered difficulties.

Ana has extensive experience in FinTech and was previously the Project Manager of Paynet, Moldova’s first eWallet & Loyalty Program delivered via mobile devices, enhanced POS and web. She joined Paynet at their founding and was instrumental in leading not only the development team for mobile, web and POS product development – but business analysis, product design, creative professionals, user interface experts, and compliance to ensure all eMoney regulations were followed.

Prior to Paynet, for more than a decade, Ana worked in various management positions in banking and was Deputy Head of the Bank Department of a leading Moldovan bank where she was credited with guiding the design and development of new product innovations, as well as overseeing all aspects of business operations in the areas of banking, cards and payments.

Ana worked closely with every department of the bank as well as the National Bank, Visa, MasterCard and other partners throughout her career – she’s an expert on banking, payments and operational excellence.

Sales & Partnerships

At PayAll, Matt’s responsible for strategic partnerships, business development and overall market growth. He leads day-to-day sales activities and interacts continuously with the marketplace to remain informed of different possibilities to leverage PayAll’s unique FinTech platform and solve problems and create value for clients. Matt’s passion to learn and listen, coupled with his end-to-end knowledge of payments, enhanced data processing and loyalty systems, product development, as well as PayAll’s flexibility to engage with deal constructs that ensure clients achieve their goals ensures Matt is a client’s best advocate and partner.

Since 2000, Matt has worked in across a wide spectrum of payments and financial services industries. Specifically, his experiences include acquiring, issuing and processing. Moreover, Matt has extensive knowledge in the corporate payments vertical with a keen understanding of how to deploy issuing and acquiring services to solve corporate challenges and create value from costs. This includes incentives, rebates, promotions, payroll and commission, tax refunds and much more.

Matt’s approach is hands-on, with a commitment to understand the specific objectives of clients in order to tailor solutions that deliver, rather than sell a standard product. From his years in the industry, he’s become a trusted advisor and subject matter expert to clients, partners and indirect channel allegiances alike.

Prior to PayAll, Matt held executive roles at American Express, Ohana Companies, and AuroraFS (now Finicity).


Sales & Partnerships

Chris is responsible for leading the strategic growth initiatives at PayAll. For the last 20-years, he’s been at the intersection of disruptive technology and opportunity. At PayAll, he’s following the same orientation and passion. Chris engages the marketplace, listens the to client’s needs and delivers a truly unique and differentiating platform perfect for the client.

His entire life and career have been defined by entrepreneurial initiatives that have resulted in the creation of several successful businesses that flourish today. They’ve encompassed retail, technology, payments and data driven analytics. For example, Chris was the first to deploy and utilize point of sale, SKU level data collection and analytics to deliver incremental revenue for the retailers. This is also the subject of several US Patents that Chris was awarded.

Chris’s approach to the marketplace is relationship and results based, with a unique addition of a networking multiplier. He not only listens and works collaboratively to deliver the product that clients want versus what others have to sell, his deal constructs always align interests. Chris ensures he only wins when his clients win. This approach is compelling when compared to the typical “here’s our product, here’s our fee schedule”. This is only possible because of Chris’s unique set of skills, broad network, diverse technology experiences, as well as his ability to consider those in his network who may represent complimentary partners who can increase revenue, data collection or product perfection.

Prior to PayAll, Chris founded Mid-States Sales & Marketing, PlusNetMarketing, Ohana Companies, Inc and Goliath Payment Solutions, Inc.


Director of User Experience

Petru’s nearly 10 years of extensive experience in compliance, fraud and risk mitigation, product innovation and development and oversight of all user interactions with top banks further strengthen our business operations leadership team.

He directly supervises compliance, fraud & risk mitigation, user enrollment and user experiences with PayAll services and products – giving him an end-to-end ability to ensure all interactions are efficient, high-quality and constantly improved.

Because of his direct oversight of user experiences, as well as his deep and wide professional experiences in acquiring, issuing electronic payments and banking, Petru also contributes to the product roadmap, ensuring PayAll is innovating and delighting users with new services and capabilities.

Highlights from Petru’s past include Chief of Product Development Unit, Operational and Fraud & Risk Management Officer, Head of Card Payments Security & Risk Division, Chief of Operational & Credit Risk Unit and Credit Risk Manager. Petru excelled at these roles and was specifically responsible for designing a world class risk and fraud management system for a leading Moldovan financial institution for their issuing and acquiring businesses, guiding the design of dispute resolution tools and procedures to ensure both regulatory compliance and properly investigated and processed claims, ensuring compliance with ever-changing rules and regulations from the National Bank, creating merchant underwriting procedures to ensure quick and fact-based decisions that achieved the bank’s objectives, interfaced with law enforcement for cyber-crime and other matters, key contributor to technical designs including data flows and storage techniques to ensure PCI DSS compliance and extensive experience in all aspects of payment and account security from the use of PINs and tokens, to enhanced-practices for user authentication.

Petru is a key leader on Ana’s team and at PayAll.


Technology Guru

Steve’s responsible for leading the product and technology development as well as operations at PayAll. Since 1994, he’s been at the fore-front of acquiring processing (POS, CNP, mPOS), prepaid issuing processing including open/closed and enhanced networks, ACH, progressive compliance systems, fraud and risk management, loyalty systems, mobile and web technologies and specialized payment and data processing for purpose-specific needs. His extensive knowledge of the arcane rules, procedures, and players in the payment processing and banking platforms is surpassed by his passion to mentor, train and develop his teams as well as delight clients with services that are secure, adaptable, resilient and scalable.

Moreover, Steve has both led and personally delivered, pioneering architecture design, applications in numerous languages, data center design and build-out, and management of encrypted, high-availability, complex payment processing solutions for start-up organizations that were acquired by major corporations.

Steve also has an unusual aptitude to work in small, privately held companies, as well as serving as a technology leader and senior executive in public companies responsible for thousands of IT and operations professionals on multiple-continents.

As a globally recognized payment processing expert, he’s led the technology activities in multiple companies, including WildCard Systems, eFunds, Wave Crest and Fidelity National Information Services. His work has been recognized for its pioneering approach and industry-changing results. In fact, while Chief Technology Officer at WildCard Systems, he originally designed and built a truly native prepaid using system that was certified by Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, Union Pay International and others. Even after two corporate acquisitions, the prepaid card platform still stands today as the primary prepaid solution for FIS, where Steve demonstrated his ability to successfully manage and evolve the platform through a series of acquisitions and mergers.

Steve also served in the United States Army where he learned to fly helicopters and parachute, and he finished his bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Maryland. He also has a master’s degree in Computer Science from Nova Southeastern, as well as two doctorate degrees from Stetson University - one in mathematics and the other in computer science.


Compliance & Legal Advisor

Robert guides PayAll in compliance and all legal matters. He works closely with The Payments Services Regulator, HM Treasury and the Financial Conduct Association and other compliance and industry bodies to ensure compliance. Much of what PayAll has developed and is pioneering requires thoughtful analysis and review. Moreover, the legislative & regulatory environment is always changing, and Robert provides essential guidance in the evolution of terms, conditions and functionality.

Additionally, with more than 25-years of experience in the cards and payments industry, Robert is noted for his knowledge of e-money, emerging payments, consumer finance, consumer protection, banking regulations, compliance and data protection.

Robert was nominated No. 1 in the Payments 2015 Power 10, and as one of the Top 10 Payments Lawyers by PayBefore in 2015. He was also named Best Industry Contributor at The Prepaid Awards. And others in the legal community have recognized his special expertise by naming Robert in Legal 500 and Chambers UK 2016 (Band 1 for Financial Services: Payment Law by saying "he is an extremely prominent figure in the payments industry, having gained significant experience in the area from years' worth of high-profile activity as it has developed. He is noted for his work with e-money in particular.")


Executive Chairman

Gary’s committed to solving problems and adding value in ways others can’t, won’t or don’t – and PayAll was formed from this passion. Gary identified that many corporations have special situations – from operating across multiple-jurisdictions to depending on independent agents or contractors, and these create complex challenges for making and receiving payments. In these instances, acquiring processors, issuing processors, FinTech companies and regulated entities simply fall-short of exactly what’s needed. And this is where PayAll shines. Gary’s role at PayAll is to lead the solution-development and positioning to ensure clients are delighted.

In 1997, Gary co-founded WildCard Systems. The company became the global leader of Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express branded prepaid cards providing services to top-tier financial institutions and non-banks around the world. The company was acquired by eFunds in July 2005 for USD $262 million.

At eFunds, Gary served as Executive Vice President of Global Strategic Business Development and was part of the executive team that sold eFunds to Fidelity National Information Services (NYSE: FIS) in September 2007 for $1.8 billion USD. Gary worked as a part-time advisor at FIS through 2009.

Since 2009, Gary’s been an active investor in and advisor to FinTech companies and related businesses including co-founding Adaptive Payments which MasterCard acquired in 2015. He was also a co-founder and former Chief Executive Officer of Wavecrest Holdings (Gibraltar), which he exited in 2012. And in 2016, he made a large investment in and became Chairman of TECS, a global payment processing leader based in Vienna, Austria.

Additionally, he’s a former director of the Electronic Funds Transfer Association, founding director and former Chairman as well as President of the National Branded Prepaid Card Association; and Gary served as a director at the Center for Financial Services Innovation until his 10-year term limit expired in 2015.
